What is Zelle?
Zelle is the online payment system used by many banks. It is secure, easy to use and most importantly there are no transaction fees, so all of your donation goes to good use by the foundation.
How to use Zelle
Each bank’s app will be slightly different, but here are some general steps on how to use Zelle to make a donation to the Bellevue Rotary Foundation:
- Open your Bank app or website
- Login
- Find a button or link saying something like “send money with Zelle”
- Locate a button or link to add a new recipient
- It will ask for email or phone number. Pick the email address based on Club vs Foundation payment:
- foundation.payments@bellevuerotary.net
- club.payments@bellevuerotary.net
- Save the new recipient
- Make a payment to this recipient
- Enter the amount
- Add details about your payment or donation in the notes field (e.g. “Happy Bucks”,“Legacy Fund” or “Club Invoice #1234”).
- Submit the payment
