Roei Ganzarski, CEO, magniX, “Electric Aviation — Revolutionizing the Way the World Flies”
Since the introduction of the jet engine in 1939 with the Heinkel aircraft, the aviation industry has been stagnant, seeing little to no step change innovation — until now. Today, we are on the cusp of a seismic shift, with the promise of full electric flight. We envision a world where our high-power-density electric motors power airplanes cleanly and more efficiently, in a way that benefits the environment and lowers costs for consumers. We see a world where the skies are as open as roads are today, allowing people to embark on journeys and packages to be delivered, in a way that might otherwise never be made.
Headquartered in Redmond, WA, with an engineering facility in Australia, magniX offers revolutionary electric propulsion systems for aircraft to meet electrical generation and torque requirements for sustainable commercial aerospace and defense. Using proprietary technology, magniX has developed a powerful electric propulsion system for aircraft and offers a range of solutions for various aviation applications, including fixed wing, rotorcraft, and VTOL.
Prior to magniX, Roei was CEO of BoldIQ, a global provider of dynamic real-time scheduling optimization software which, under Roei’s leadership, grew from a seed software startup to a profitable multi-million dollar SaaS company. Other experiences prior to Boeing include private investment banking, corporate finance, advertising, and the military.
