Mrs. Herber has over 20 years of experience as an innovator and business developer. She holds a master’s degree in Technology Management, and through her 15 years of experience in IT, established global technology partnerships and launched innovative solutions with many of the world’s most visible high‑tech companies, such as Lucent Technologies, AT&T, Qwest Communications, SAP, and Microsoft.

Mrs. Herber has founded and continues to operate multiple community businesses with her husband, including WiggleWorks kids, the original walk‑in, soft‑play, moving playscape and birthday party experience in the Pacific Northwest, for kids under 48″; Genesis Games & Gizmos, a community gaming experience for the community and families; and Ascend Hospitality Group, a restaurant development and operating company that recently acquired Famous Dave’s of Washington and Famous Dave’s of Utah, and Juice & Glow of Bellevue. Additionally, Ascend Hospitality group developed and operates a 6-concept Food Hall (The Lincoln South Food Hall) and their flagship rooftop restaurant, Ascend Prime Steak & Sushi.

Mrs. Herber proudly serves as a Trustee for the Bellevue Schools Foundation and is a passionate community leader, committed to elevating the lives of those who live, work, and play in Bellevue through her company’s innovative projects and extensive charitable donations, supporting most local non-profit organizations. When she’s not mothering her 600 employees, Elaina is actually mothering her two children, Jaxon (9) and Makena (6), and Penelope, the Sheepadoodle (8 months).
